Benfica vs Getafe

Of the 3 Spanish teams that in Champions League last 2 days, two teams, namely Read Madrid and Sevilla, were knocked out of the competition.Only Barcelona remains. It seems Spanish teams are weaker this year or maybe they are concentrating on their own leagues? Tonight, we see Getafe playing away to Benfica on the first of 2 legs. Will we see a similar fate with Getafe as the two teams that's knocked out? Getafe seems to be in a good form latelyand scoring goals. Getafe will prove to be a tough opponent to Benfica, who is also enjoying a good run. Benfica may have various missings but is playing good at home.As this is first leg, I would see both sides playing cautiously with Getafe trying not to lose and Benfica trying not to concede. Bettingwise, this is a tough match to consider but I will go more for under 2.5 goals and Getafe not to lose. Results may be 1-0, 0-0, 1-1, 0-1.

Tottenham vs PSV

English teams are doing really good this season. Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea all qualified for next round of Champions League. Tottenham has already won the Carling Cup over Chelsea and it is a solid achievement, where the players went partying and talked about their next cup – UEFA cup. It is good that the players are brought down to earth as they lost to Birmingham 4-1 over the weekend. I believe they will not be so careless and will play with the same mentality they have been playing for the past few weeks. They have been good defensively and are also scoring goals in front. PSV lost unexpectedly to Utrecht over the weekend. They have been playing solidly until the last loss. However, I see it that they know they can afford the weekend loss and would have been focusing on this match instead. So we will see two very motivated teams. Hard match to predict again but I really see Tottenham as a very strong contenter for any competitions they are in with Ramos in charge. Draw game or a win for Tottenham.

Fiorentina vs Everton

Two in-form teams against each other. Both teams are doing really well in their own respective leagues and in UEFA matches. This could actually well be a Champions League fixture amd judging how these two teams are playing and possibly qualifying for Champions League next season. Fiorentina won Juventus away 2-3 over the weekend while Everton has not lost the last 7 matches. This could be an over match but also an under match. But I favour the English team over the Italian team. Maybe we can see a repeat of AC Milan vs Arsenal match. A draw is also very likely.
